Labour Day weekend

Hello! It's been a shorter week back in camp since Friday was May day public holiday... Haha a good rest after training =)

Had something special for training on saturday... We did urban operations (combat fighting in buildings). It's definitely more fun than conventional warfare Haha. In the afternoon, we as a platoon had to clear building by building with actual moving enemies deployed. There was one incident where we didn't coordinate well enough. One section went by the back while another went by the front. Eventually, when one section has cleared the enemies, the other section was still coming in, not knowing that the enemies have been eliminated. This led to a very hilarious friendly fire. A section commander shot his own man down, then a man from the other section fired the section commander!! Haha I was already dead by then, so was with the other dead ones watching this funny scene! Haha really laughed at them, super funny. I've never played counterstrike before, but this seems better than that haha... Get to play it real life LOL.

Booked out late on thursday but nvm! 3-day weekend ahead. On may 1st, a group of classmates came over to my place for potluck. My maid prepared fried bee hoon and chicken curry. Me the lazy one went to buy drinks and tidbits Haha. The rest brought specially made biscuit sandwiches, fried chicken wings, 'popcorn chicken', cakes, and interesting cheesy springrolls with either prawn or sausage. Haha all nicely prepared.... Unfortunately at the end of the day got quite a stomach upset =P but i'm okay now... Haha not food poisoning. Ben Tan brought Nintendo Wii along also, so we had quite some fun playing that. Most of the time playing some arcade-like shooting game Haha. After most of us ate our fill, we decided to walk around compass point. I thought the direct bus 80 to sengkang was a quick journey, but turned out to be quite long Haha. Sorry, I only came back home from sengkang once before. And I travelled with a special someone that time, so time passed by quickly then Haha. Anyway, didn't do much at compass point. Sat at starbucks coffee and didn't buy anything. We pretended that the used cups on the table left by previous guests were ours Haha. Most of them left for home after that, while me, benedict and lucas went to macs for ice cream. Long time since I ate McFlurry alr Haha. Then we talked about army stuff... Benedict now out of course from OCS, deciding whether to recourse or be posted to a unit. Lucas just came out of 2 week confinement in BMT. First time see his shaven head Haha... Now he can't laugh at me anymore =P

Today saturday, went for violin lesson in the morning, then went back to sajc for CO practice. Met up with Ben, Cindy and Cheeyae for lunch tgt at Macs. Sectional practice went on after that. I felt that huqin was not bad already, but there's much room for improvement. I hope that they'll manage the songs in time for SYF this wed. Stress coming upon Delia and Vanessa Haha... But guys, just go out there and perform like professionals =) everything will fall in smoothly when you have a confident mindset. Will be waiting to hear for the results! I'll you all in prayer...

So far my weekend is just that... One more day before going back to camp for another week of tough training. I shall conquer them week by week. Looking forward to the end of it all Haha ~
